BAINBRIDGE - The Out of the Woodwork Players opens their 37th season October 10, 11 and 12 with the fractured fairy tale comedy "Exposed!" Famous figures from folk tales and history have their day with the "truth" behind the legends.
Did Robin really rob, or just retreat to his Hood? Could Rumpelstiltskin win the name game prize? Was Charles Dickens only dedicated to the dramatic? Is Billy Bonker bent on becoming a chocoholic?
You'll see siblings Hansel and Gretel, Princesses Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, Stevenson's Jekyll and Hyde, as well as Peter Pan's merry band.
Marisa Macdonald directs this multi-age cast hailing from Bainbridge, Harpursville, Port Crane, Sidney, Sidney Center and Unadilla.
Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. on October 10 and 11, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, October 12. Tickets are available online at outofthewoodworkplayers.ludus.com or at the door. Find us on Facebook (facebook.com/OWPTheatre) or email owptheatre@yahoo.com. You may text inquiries to (607) 765-5008.
